The inks pots out on the etching slab.

The 'yellow' plate is inked.
Later it is polished then printed.

The etching press. The 'Yellow' plate is ready on the bed of the press. The damp paper will be placed on top of the plate.

Little etchings hanging up to dry in Janet's workshop/studio.

The yellows are printed onto the damp paper, then that plate is removed and the blue ink plate is put in place.

The blue/greens are then printed from the separately made etching plate. The etching is complete. Both plates are then re-inked for the next print.
